Insertio : Ujung lidah
Fungsi : Retraksi dan melebarkan lidah, mengangkat ujung lidah, menurunkan ujung lidah, Apex linguae
2. M. Longitudinalis inferior
Persarafan : Nervus hypoglossus (XII)
Origo : Radix linguae
Insertio : Ujung lidah
Fungsi : Retraksi dan melebarkan lidah, mengangkat ujung lidah, menurunkan ujung lidah, Apex linguae
3. M. Transversus linguae
Persarafan : Nervus hypoglossus (XII)
Origo : Margo lateralis linguae, Septum linguae
Insertio :Margo lateralis linguae, aponeurosis linguae
Fungsi : Menyempitkan lidah, memanjangkan lidah bersama-sama dengan M. verticalis linguae
4. M. Verticalis linguae
Persarafan : Nervus hypoglossus (XII)
Origo : Radix linguae, septum linguae
Insertio : aponeurosis linguae
Fungsi : Melebarkan lidah

1. M. Genioglossus
Persarafan : Nervus hypoglossus (XII)
Origo : Spina mentalis mandibulae
Insertio : aponeurosis linguae
Fungsi : Memajukkan dan menekan lidah
2. M. hyoglossus
Persarafan : Nervus hypoglossus (XII)
Origo : Cornu majus and Corpus ossis hyodei
Insertio : bagian lateral aponeurosis linguae
Fungsi : Retraksi dan menekan lidah
3. M. chondroglossus (pembentukan bervariasi)
Persarafan : Nervus hypoglossus (XII)
Origo : Cornu minus ossis hyodei
Insertio : bagian lateral aponeurosis linguae
Fungsi : Retraksi lidah dan menekan pangkal dan badan lidah
4. M. styloglossus
Persarafan : Nervus hypoglossus (XII)
Origo : Margo anterior processus styloidei ossis temporalis, ligamen stylomandibulare
Insertio : memasuki bagian lateral lidah dari atas dan belakang
Fungsi : Retraksi dan mengangkat lidah
